Bungalow
Separate from the main building, these rooms are plain but nice, clean and very comfortable. With an excellent range of facilities and great value for money, these rooms are ideal for those wanting comfort and cleanliness without the expense.Rooms are large and spacious and very clean. With cable television, air conditioning and a spacious bathroom with hot water shower, guests are sure to have a pleasant stay. These guest rooms are not conventional, detached bungalows, rather a long building separate from the main house with rooms all joined together.
Downstairs
These rooms are located downstairs of the main building and retain the beautiful old colonial style architecture, high ceilings and a very nice atmosphere. The large and spacious rooms are plain but nice and cosy and well furnished.Some rooms have doors opening to the garden outside as well as the internal access doors, and some are on the street front.
Upstairs
This room is located upstairs of the main building and is the smallest of the 3 rooms, however it is still large, spacious and homely. With a boutique style and colonial architecture with high ceilings are large windows; this room is a very comfortable option.The room comes with a double bed and features a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room as well as a large bathroom
Deluxe Vip
The Deluxe VIP Room is a suite consisting of a bedroom featuring one king-sized bed plus a single bed and ensuite bathroom. The bedroom is air conditioned and has a desk and wardrobe.The suite also has a living room with kitchenette, large fridge, sofa and table. This area is uniquely furnished with old decorations of wood, chandeliers, antelope horns and a lot of character. Guests can really feel how it was to live in this impressive French colonial house a century ago. The living room has a television, two ceiling fans and access to a balcony.

This hotel has the potential to be wonderful as the building is atmospheric with its huge rooms, art deco furniture and lovely verandas. However it is run as a subsidiary of Faulty Towers. The manager decided that he wasn't coming to the airport despite having arranged pickup and told us to catch the airport service at $10 for a very short trip. He had given away our triple room so I shared a bed with an unimpressed teenager. The mattresses had not been changed in over 30 years is my guess - so lumpy. The guy at the desk blew cigarette smoke in our faces despite the no smoking sign nearby. And our tour guide for the Bolaven platter knew not a word of English despite our stipulation that we needed a guide with good English. After a sleepless night, we moved to the Pakse Hotel around the corner which we loved . The 7th floor rooftop restaurant is amazing at sunset.
Osete- UK
We stayed for 3 nights and paid $14 for a studio room.We had a spacious room with TV,A/C and hot water.The restaurant did fantastic local food.
We asked the owner to book us tickets for the VIP sleeper bus to Vientiane and said that we wanted seats together.When we went to the bus station the day before we were due to travel to check out the bus we were told our seats were not together.Luckily they changed this for us.Just a word of warning, instead of seats it is a small bed for 2 people so may be a bit uncomfortable if you are travelling alone sleeping next to a stranger! You have the option of paying more for a single sleeper if you want.
The bus was actually very comfortable with fresh bedding and pillows.
